What is Kicktronic?

Kicktronic is a versatile, high quality electronic bass drum with a deep, punchy, full-body sound.  Unlike mainstream sample-based electronic drums, the Kicktronic design is successful in achieving as much character and feel as a natural instrument.  Based on a true analog sound engine, the Kicktronic sound is generated with random infinite timbre/tone differences in each strike, and its resonance envelope varies across the dynamic range.  This gives the sound an incredible amount of variance (otherwise known as "nuance"), thus giving Kicktronic as much character as a natural acoustic drum, and a uniqueness that puts it in a class of its own.

Kicktronic can be plugged into any amplifier, mixer, sound monitor, computer etc.  It has a built-in sensor for triggering, so no external trigger is required.  The waveform is triggered by striking the sensitive edge of the unit with a very natural foot-tapping action.  Kicktronic responds to the player's touch much differently than typical electronic drums do.  Just like a natural instrument, sound is actually optimized with good playing technique, creating feel and playing satisfaction.
