I Just wanted you guys to know that I haven't seen or heard anything like this before, and I am glad I went ahead and got one.  This changes everything for my music situation.  Now I sing, play acoustic guitar, and Kicktronic for a "semi band-like" sound, and it sounds really good.  People that watch me play are actually telling me that it sounds more enjoyable to listen to than my drum machine.

In response to your question, yes I do like it and my band thinks it's great too. I see what you mean by "character". Usually when we go to the studio our sound engineer prefers acoustic drums over electronics because he says the sample based electronic kits may sound good these days, but the sound is too consistent and they lack the character of acoustic kits. He was very impressed with the kicktronic however. It is used in our latest recordings and they sound amazing. Thanks again.

I had to get a little bit familiar because I was playing old type of pedals for a long time. Now I find it very natural....like tapping on the ground. It is very good for when I play with my congas. The electronic bass drum is a very good idea.

My comments on the Kicktronic: Very cool instrument. I play drums and keyboard and I use Kicktronic in both setups. Did you consider marketing this to DJs as well? I'm sure this thing will pound through a big system, and it's nice and portable as well. It's good to see that there are still people making musical instruments for the love of the art. It gives people like me an alternative to the products brain washed onto us by mega corporations. Keep up the good work!

Hello there,

Thanks for the great service.  The Kicktronic is perfect for my smaller gigs.  If I play it with my bass I can back a small band without a drummer.  When we do use a drummer I sometimes use it also to emphasize louder parts.  It's very useful indeed.  I've loaned it to a friend to try and he ended up ordering one for himself.  Looks like I'm not the only one who likes it.
